The best pizza place I believe I have ever been to. Had the calzone and garlic bread... OMG, forget about everything else and savor the oozing cheese in the calzone!!!

Papa Joe's is absolutely more than outstanding! We stopped in while visiting the Harrisburg area, and it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about their customers. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every bite had a homemade flair, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. It's the kind of place where you can tell they take pride in every dish they serve. (I had the lasagna dinner which came with a nice salad and homem ade bread sticks. My husband enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger that was fully loaded and came with fries.) The restaurant was clean and comfortable that made us want to stay awhile. It's so refreshing to find a local restaurant that delivers on both food and service! And did I mention the meals are very competively priced. If you're anywhere near Harrisburg, Papa Joe's is definitely worth the visit. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in town. Chat said one of two best in the area. Was "ok"...don't get me wrong, NOT bad, just wasn't earth shaking. We did pickup and they forgot to make our pie so had to wait another 10m. Would try again if in the area and give them another shot.

Dropped in for lunch while working in the area, what a great find! The speciality slice was off the hook- a white NY slice topped with roasted red peppers, bella mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, basil, mozz & a balsamic glaze drizzle.. 🤌🏻 Crust was just right w/ a perfect crunch 10/10. The classic Sicilian square slice was also just right in flavor and texture. Best pizza I've had in a long while hands down, and paying under $10 these days for lunch is extra bonus. Highly recommend and I'll plan to return when in the area.

I think they have the best pizza around but I won’t eat there again. I tired to order a pepperoni mushroom pizza delivered on DoorDash it was gonna be $38. It was $19 for a large cheese then $6 per topping then tax and fees. I don’t know anyone spending $38 for a large 2 topping. I went elsewhere and paid $22 happily. Good luck with that papa joe

We’ve been getting takeout from this place for years and it never disappoints! Tonight we got a Grandma style Margherita pizza, a large cheese pizza, and a large cheesesteak Stromboli everything was delicious and served hot. The flavors are always fresh and high-quality, which is why we keep coming back. It’s a little on the pricey side ($75 for everything), but with the quality and portions, it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza and Stromboli! 😊

I must say, first time customer and I was impressed. I had the hot turkey club, other family members had the pizza. No complaints. This sub was one of the best subs I have had. It was stuffed with meat and the bread was not overbearing. Some times you get a sub and there is more bread than anything. I will definitely order again.
